LOCAL telecommunications giant Vodafone Fiji Ltd has added another outlet to its growing retail chain, further expanding their customer service reach in the Western Division.
The company opened their new Vodafone Tappoo City shop in Lautoka last Saturday, attracting many customers with opening specials and giveaways.
According to Vodafone chief marketing officer Rajnesh Prasad, the new outlet adds to the ease of access and convenience to their customers and the growing retail sector in Lautoka.
“We want to give our customers a premium experience and the new shop offers that. Customers now can have a better look and feel of the latest devices through the smart table display,” he said.
Mr. Prasad said the opening also coincided with the launching of the two latest editions of the Samsung Galaxy; J5 and J7 Pro.
The two latest smartphones, he said, would be made exclusively available from the Vodafone Tappoo City Lautoka shop for a week before being distributed to other outlets nationwide.
Many customers, who were present at the opening, also welcomed the opening of the new retail outlet.
Vomo St, Lautoka resident Olivia Tavokai said the new outlet was a good move by Vodafone for including the location for their retail shop.
Ms. Tavokai, who has been using Vodafone network for more than 15 years, said she enjoyed being a Vodafone customer, especially the Voda-star credits given out monthly.
“I was one of the first customers here and received my free giveaway,” she said.
Krishneel Achari of Ba, who was visiting relatives, also visited the new outlet to witness the specials.
“I as a Vodafone customer, it has become easy for me to get access to their services as within the same location,” he said.
The Vodafone Tappoo City outlet adds to the 11 premier shops across the country that operates in connecting Fijians with latest mobile products and services.
