Increasing stability and growing confidence in the economy has seen the Tappoo Group open up a slew of new outlets for their specialist white goods, electronic and leisure goods stores, Home and Leisure.
In the past six months, the Tappoo Group has opened four new outlets of Home and Leisure, bumping up the total number of Home & Leisure outlets to five.
The newest outlet is the Home & Leisure store in central Suva, at the corner of Mark Street and Thompson Street, opposite the Tappoo Downtown Department Store.
Starting with the first Home & Leisure store in Raiwai, Suva, 18 months ago, then Nausori in October, last year, the Group went on to open outlets in Sigatoka and Nadi in November. The Sigatoka and Nausori outlets incorporate the Tappoo boutique specialist store Dressmart while the Nadi and Central Suva outlets are stand-alone Home and Leisure.
The Home & Leisure product range includes TV, DVD and home theatre systems, fridges and washing machines, cook-tops and ovens, air-conditioners, small kitchen appliances and health and fitness equipment.
Emphasis is in on brand names. Leading international big names like Simpson, Whirlpool, Chef, Sanyo, Mistral, Braun, Proform, Weslo, Cadence, Nordictrack, Reebok and Homedics are just some of renowned branded products you will find at Tappoo Home & Leisure Stores.
The world-famous Sheridan brand bed sheets, towels and accessories is the latest addition to their product profile.
The opening of the new outlets is part of the Tappoo Group strategy to take their world-renowned brands and hallmark service to the people of Fiji, says Tappoo Group executive director, Mr Madhu Tappoo.
“With the growing demand among the consumers for affordable quality and exceptional service, we are ready to provide this dynamic mix of shopping in urban centres other than where we operated before,” Mr Tappoo said.
