Rugby 7s King, Waisale Serevi and Tappoo Group of Companies have teamed up for life, despite age catching up on the best 7s player in the world. This was confirmed by Tappoo’s Executive Director Mahendra Tappoo at their new Suva outlet which has shifted from it Rodwel road location to the old Morris Hedstrom Store opposite the Suva Market. Tappoo said Serevi would continue his role as the group’s Corporate Ambassador, even if he retires from rugby field he has ruled for the last two decades.

“Serevi is unique. His talent has not only enhanced rugby in Fiji but has helped unite Fiji on many occasions,” he added. “His services to Fiji are unlimited and we are glad to have him as part of our service to the people of Fiji. We are glad to announce that his position as our corporate Ambassador would continue beyond his retirement from rugby field.” he added. Serevi was swamped by fans at the new outlet in suva yesterday. With a month away from turing 39, an age where most rugby players enjoy retirement, Serevi has opened a new chapter by declaring his availability for the 2007 Rugby World
