This follows up on Tappoo signing up sevens maestro Waisale Serevi as Tappoo Corporate Ambassador two years ago.
Ryder, who is considered to be the coolest thing on the sevens field worldwide, signed up for five years with Tappoo. He will promote his favourite brand Nike as well as the various other leading brands that Tappoo represents in Fiji.
“I would like to thank Sumeet Tappoo and the Tappoo Group,” said Ryder as he signed up before mentor and coach, Serevi at the Tappoo boardroom in Suva.
“This is a great opportunity and I thank the Lord for giving it to me,” said Ryder.
Serevi welcomed Ryder on board.
“I am very happy that my company Tappoo is supporting and encouraging young players,” Serevi said.
“I have benefited a lot from being a Tappoo Ambassador and I am glad Ryder is joining us,” he said.
Welcoming Ryder, executive director, Mahendra Tappoo said Tappoo was committed to supporting sporting stars to enable them to grow as players, as human beings and also to develop not only locally but on the international stage as sports and social icons as well.
