Position Overview:

As an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Data Processing Officer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure accurate and efficient processing of data within the organization’s ERP system. You will collaborate with various departments to gather, analyze, and process data, ensuring its integrity and reliability. Your role will involve managing data flows, troubleshooting issues, and implementing data processing best practices. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of ERP systems.\

Responsibilities:

  1. Data Processing: Accurately and efficiently process data within the ERP system, including data entry, data validation, and data manipulation.
  2. Data Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements, perform data analysis, and generate reports and insights to support decision-making processes.
  3. Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data within the ERP system by performing regular data audits and implementing data quality control measures.
  4. System Maintenance: Collaborate with IT teams to maintain and update the ERP system, including configuring data processing rules, workflows, and system interfaces.
  5. Issue Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot data processing issues, working closely with relevant teams to resolve data discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  6. Documentation: Create and maintain documentation of data processing procedures, guidelines, and standards to ensure consistent and efficient data handling practices.
  7. Process Improvement: Continuously review data processing workflows and identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiency enhancements.
  8. Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on data entry procedures, data validation rules, and best practices for data processing within the ERP system.
  9. Compliance: Ensure data processing activities comply with relevant data protection regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies.

 

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Previous experience in data processing or data management roles, preferably within an ERP environment.
  3. ERP Knowledge: Strong understanding of ERP systems, their data structures, and data processing capabilities. Familiarity with popular ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics is desirable.
  4. Data Analysis Skills: Proficient in data analysis techniques, including data querying, reporting, and visualization. Experience with data analysis tools like SQL, Excel, or business intelligence platforms is advantageous.
  5. Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to data processing with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
  6. Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex data sets, identify patterns, and generate meaningful insights.
  7. Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot data-related issues, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
  8. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at various levels and effectively convey technical information.
  9. Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and work towards common goals.
  10. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
