Key Responsibilities: 

• Technical Skills:
Technical knowledge and skills are essential for an IT Support Officer.

• User Support:
Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to ensure minimal downtime.

• System Maintenance:
Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates, patches, and antivirus management.
Monitor system performance and address issues proactively to ensure optimal functionality.

• Hardware and Software Installation:
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.

• IT Infrastructure:
Assist in the setup and maintenance of IT infrastructure components, including servers, routers, switches, and other networking equipment.

• Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems, processes, and procedures.
Develop user guides and manuals to assist end-users with common issues and tasks.

• Training and Guidance:
Conduct training sessions to educate end-users on IT best practices, security awareness, and efficient use of technology.

• Inventory Management:
Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and peripherals.
Assist in the planning and budgeting for IT-related expenses.

• Continuous Learning:
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT support.
Pursue relevant certifications and training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in ICT or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in similar capacity.
  • Should have a good knowledge in Basic IT Programs
  • Experience in Firewall, and Router Configuration, Email, Office 365 or Exchange Server is added advantage.
  • Should be skilled in implementing network and troubleshoot complex & technical problems.
  • Knowledge of Relational Database Concepts and with MySQL, MS SQL Server
  • Knowledge of Retail Marketing Tools
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and be flexible with working hours.
