Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the selected applicant will be based at our regional office in the Central region and will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the finance function of multiple companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing monthly management reports on deadlines, discuss with GM Finance & Group Financial Controller on monthly basis before presenting to the board and stakeholders.
  • Forecasting & Budgeting at profit/cost centre levels/group level and monitoring the achievements and discuss with GM Finance & Group Financial Controller for improvements and to present to the board & external parties when requested.
  • Handling all Group Insurance matters.
  • Preparation of information required by banks & financial institutions time to time.
  • Special MIS reporting, Project evaluations and invest appraisals.
  • Planning & effective management of cash flow management
  • Closely monitor all clearing accounts and month end process
  • Attend yearend audit and make sure to complete the audit in timely manner on time.
  • Effective management & providing direction to the finance teams in different regions.
  • Attend to all system related finance issues and liaise with IT department to solve the same.
  • Liaising with banks & other statutory bodies to handle day-to-day operations.

Requirements:

The candidate must be a Chartered Accountant, who is a member of CA or with similar qualifications with minimum of 10 years of managerial post qualifying, industrial experience in a similar position in a reputed, large, diversified trading/manufacturing organization.

Must possess:

  • Essential to have specific industry experience such as Retail, Wholesale, Manufacturing, Automotive, Distribution, hotels and resorts.
  • Sound knowledge in International Accounting Standards / IFRS, company and tax laws
  • Experience in computer-based accounting systems, preferably a working knowledge on Oracle MIS software, ERA [DOS based] and MS applications.
  • Must possess good leadership and managerial skills.
  • Fluency in English and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
